The activation fee is a one-time payment that covers everything you need to get started: school account setup, data migration assistance (we help you import your existing student records), a dedicated onboarding session with your staff, platform configuration for your school's grading system, class structure, and fee schedule. It is paid once and never again — it applies to all plans regardless of school size.

You pay a flat rate per enrolled student per term based on your chosen plan. For example, on the Growth plan at ₦3,000/student/term with 200 students, your termly cost is ₦600,000. If you switch to annual billing, you save 33% — bringing it down to ₦2,000/student/term (₦400,000 per term, ₦1,200,000 per year). Only active, enrolled students count — you are never charged for alumni or withdrawn students.

After paying the activation fee, you get full access to all Premium plan features for 30 days with up to 50 students — completely free, no per-student charges. This gives you enough time to set up your school, train your staff, and see real results before committing to a paid plan. At the end of the trial, you choose any plan (Starter, Growth, Premium, or Enterprise) and start paying per-student. You can also downgrade or cancel — no questions asked.

Yes, absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately — you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current term, and you get instant access to all features on the new plan. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current features until then. There is no penalty or fee for switching plans.

No minimum on any paid plan. Whether you have 20 students or 2,000, the per-student rate stays the same within your plan. This makes Eduva accessible for small nurseries just getting started as well as large multi-campus schools. You only pay for the students you actively enroll each term.

Parents pay school fees directly through the Eduva platform using their preferred method — debit card, bank transfer, or USSD. Payments are processed by Paystack and deposited directly into your school's own bank account (not ours). Paystack charges standard transaction fees of 1.5% + ₦100, capped at ₦2,000 per transaction. You get real-time payment notifications, automatic receipt generation, and a full payment dashboard so you always know who has paid and who hasn't.

Yes. Schools with over 1,000 students qualify for custom Enterprise pricing — contact our sales team for a personalized quote. We also offer 33% savings for annual billing (pay for the full year upfront instead of termly). Additionally, our referral program rewards schools that recommend Eduva to other schools with billing credits.

For the activation fee and subscription payments, we accept bank transfers, debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), and USSD payments — all processed securely via Paystack. Enterprise customers can also pay via invoice with NET-30 terms. We send receipts for every payment, and you can view your complete billing history in your admin dashboard.
